Intimate Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant Wedding: Kaity + Chris

This was my first time getting to photograph a wedding at Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant (located in Fish Creek Park) and I couldn't have been more excited to do so. The venue, surrounding gardens, and picturesque views of Fish Creek Park made it the perfect location for Kaity + Chris' intimate summer wedding. I met Kaity when we were both students at Mount Royal University, so I was honoured (and SO pumped) when she reached out to me about photographing their special day. 

We met for their first look behind the restaurant in the surrounding gardens, and Chris' reaction to seeing Kaity has to be one of my favourites. Kaity's dress from The Bridal Boutique fit her like a GLOVE and paired beautifully with her florals (that she put together *herself?!). 

Their ceremony was held on the deck at Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant. They celebrated their commitment with their families with cocktails and appetizers on the lawn as the sun set behind them. After snagging a few more golden hour portraits (I could’ve photographed these two all night long) Kaity, Chris and their families moved inside for the most delicious dinner (I still think about the tenderloin). I was so honoured to have been included to sit with their families as they shared wine, swapped stories of Kaity + Chris throughout the years and toasted to their future.

It was such a pleasure getting to celebrate with these two and their families. Congrats Kaity + Chris!
