Rainy Downtown Calgary Wedding: Jenn + Chris

A love story as old as time - an evening at the Ship and Anchor Pub, boy “accidentally” orders too many tequila shots and asks girl and her friend if they wanted one (an “offer I couldn’t refuse” says girl). Inseparable ever since, Jenn + Chris committed to forever on August 27, 2022 (complete with 2? 3? rounds of tequila shots).

It might have been the rainiest wedding day I’ve had in my 8 years of being a photographer, and if these two were disappointed, you would never have been able to tell based on how much joy these two radiated being with each other. Their day had no shortage of personal touches - my favourites included their sweet dog Ellie as their ringbearer, their friend who had flown all the way from the UK to officiate, and the ring Jenn wore given to her by her grandmother. But my favourite of all had to have been the photos they sourced of ALL their guests to use as name place cards (like WHAT? So sweet!). It was the loveliest day and I am so grateful to have been part of it!
