Seasons of Bowness Fall Wedding: Carmen + Jeramy

From the moment I met with Carmen, I knew she was the type of bride I want to work with. I loved listening to her describe what she envisioned for her and Jeramy's wedding day - a day to relax, hang out with friends and family, play games, and enjoy the day. And while they were excited to celebrate with their loved ones, they also craved something a bit more intimate for their vows. So the week before their wedding, they headed out to the mountains, hiked to the most beautiful mountain meadow and read their promises to support each other, inspire one another, and to stand by each other's side through the good and the bad. It was so incredibly beautiful to watch and I was truly honoured to have been asked to join them.

That following Saturday, they met again at Baker Park to celebrate with their friends and family. Their ceremony was sweet and simple - complete with a surprise song from Carmen that brought many to tears.

A few months ago, I started a series called The Intentional Bride as a way to inspire couples to do things their own way, and I don't think Carmen and Jeramy could have done it any better. From their mountain meadow vows to their intimate brunch reception at Seasons of Bowness, these two were intentional throughout the entire process.

Carmen + Jeramy, thank you for bringing me along to celebrate your beautiful journey. I have loved getting to know you both, hear your story, and witness your beautiful love for one another.  I wish the two of you all the adventure life has to offer in your marriage together.
